Lock Haven University อยู่ที่เมืองลอค เฮเวน ในรัฐเพนซิลเวเนีย เป็นเมืองเล็กๆ ด้านชายฝั่งตะวันออกของอเมริกาแต่ก็เต็มเปี่ยมไปด้วยประวัติศาสตร์และความเป็นอเมริกันอย่างแท้จริง เมืองลอค เฮเวนนี้แม้ว่าจะเงียบสงบ มีบ้านช่องสมัยวิคตอเรียอันสะอาดสะอ้านและทิวต้นไม้เรียงรายตามถนนเป็นภาพชินตา แต่ว่าก็ไม่น่าเบื่อ เพราะอยู่ใกล้กับเมืองใหญ่ ๆ ที่สำคัญหลายแห่ง เช่น นิวยอร์ค ฟิลาเดลเฟีย และวอชิงตัน ดีซี

สภาพอากาศ
อุณหภูมิเฉลี่ยในฤดูร้อนอยู่ที่ประมาณ 15 – 25 องศาเซลเซียส และอยู่ที่ประมาณ 5-8 องศาเซลเซียสในฤดูหนาว นอกจากนี้ยังมี ฤดูกาลที่ชัดเจน 4 ฤดูและมีหิมะตกประมาณ 10 นิ้วต่อปี
